I’ve just discovered this website Corolla Cream – a feast of vintage-y stuff for the home and to wear.Its makes great browsing but the thing I like best about it is that each item for sale has a person’s name –Vera, Madge and Philippa are teapots, Debs, George and Janet are cushion covers, Mildred and Cheryl are glovers.
As you may be able to tell, this has amused me no end.
Pictured here are George and Mildred, looking slightly different from the 70s sitcom of the same name.
There is even something with the same name as me (not Sanddancer – my actual name) – rather typically, it is a hideous pair of old curtains.
