7 Things about Me.
1. My mother was a Beauty Queen. I look like my father.
2. A male friend once said I was “very funny for a girl” which is both one of the most sexist and nicest things anyone has ever said about me
3. My friend’s dad used to drive us to school in the back of his furniture van. All of the other parents drove BMWs, Porsches and Jaguars.
4. I eat tomatoes every day.
5. The first film I went to see at the cinema without an adult was the Care Bear movie. I got lost going to the toilet and ended up outside on a building site!
6. The first concert I went to was The WonderStuff who played on the badminton courts at my local leisure centre when I was 15.
7. I went to the same school as the reporter Kate Aide (although years later), to university with Cilla Black’s son and work with someone who once dated Jerry Springer.

Aha, I have been tagged! OK, I shall get thinking...
I have an image of you sitting in a van, eating tomatoes, on your way to school. I like the anecdote about you ending up on a building site instead of a the Care Bears movie.
yours are much better than mine SD,youre very witty-whereas I cant write for toffee!
thank you! let me get my creative juices flowing...
Uh! Ya got me! Tagged! I will go put my thinking cap on and post some random goodies shortly.
I love the no.1 and no.5.
You really are witty.
Everybody is doing this now and it's very interesting, and funny some times.
The cinema incident was very traumatic and it was quite some time before I went to the cinema without adult supervision again.
Annette and Thoughts - thank you - I think you'll find thought that I'm just witty for a girl.
Interesting to read, but I am quite intrigued by the tomatoes thing though. Is it always salad tomatoes, or do you use them in cooking different meals, or maybe other ways of getting your daily quota...? I read your post yesterday and am still thinking about it, rather worryingly for me!
Claire - I'm eating other fruit and veg but the other day I realised that I always have tomatoes in some form or other. It isn't a deliberate decision. Lunch when I'm at work usually includes cherry tomatoes, if I have toast, I have tomatoes on it and most things I cook involve tomatoes.
I read yesterday that they provide some sun-protection and natural anti-aging properties. I was asked for ID in a pub the other week so I think the tomatoes may be the blame/thank.
