Today's plan to do some gardening has been put on hold because it has snowed.
April, spring should be well under way and here we are with snow. I don't think I've ever seen snow on a palm tree before.
The children next door loved it. They were giving little squeals of what could only be described as glee.
So the garden will have to wait. I predict a day of tea and biscuits instead.

It's funny old weather, SandDancer... We went for a drive to the Surrey Hills – the snow was pretty deep in places. It was *cold* – I can't believe I was wandering around at home in a vest-tee on Friday!
No gardening for me either...
Ever seen snow on the beach? It happened a couple of years ago, near the town where I live now. Quite an impressive view it was, I'm sorry I couldn't find any better pic online.

Lady S, I must be getting old, but in 1963 there wasn't just snow on the beach...the bloody sea froze!
Haha! It's not you getting old, cogidubnus, what you say is a fact; but for me, living in southern Spain, having seen snow on the beach...that's something you remember for life! :)
